After Apple released a series of software updates on October 31, the watchOS 5.1 update had to be pulled.
The reason for this step was massive installation problems. After an installation had been carried out, Apple Watches could no longer be started in many cases and were therefore worthless. Those affected could only help Apple Support by replacing the devices. It is still unclear what caused the problem. There is still no official statement from Apple.
Now Apple has rolled out watchOS 5.1. The description is hardly distinguishable from the first version. It talks about new functions, improvements and bug fixes.
