The next Apple TV+ series is called “Little America” and is scheduled to debut on January 17, 2020. Now, before the premiere, Apple has ordered the second season.
According to previous rumors, Apple has already ordered the second season of "The Morning Show," "See," and more. But nothing of the sort has been confirmed so far. Now, however, the company has announced the renewal of "Little America." This is what the Apple TV+ press page says:
Apple today announced that its highly anticipated new series “Little America” has been renewed for a second season ahead of the premiere of the first season. Inspired by the true stories featured in Epic Magazine, “Little America” goes beyond the headlines and brings to life the funny, romantic, heartfelt and surprising stories of immigrants in America. The first season of eight episodes will debut in its entirety and exclusively on Apple TV+ on Friday, January 17, 2020.

Each episode will be around 30 minutes long and will tell its own story. An overview of the individual episodes was also provided as part of the announcement.
“Little America” Season One:
- The manager – At age 12, Kabir must learn to run a Utah motel on his own after his parents were sent back to India.
- The Jaguar – Marisol, an unknown teenager from Mexico, navigates her career with the help of her coach who inspires her to dream big – on and off the court.
- The Cowboy – Iwegbuna, a business graduate from a small village in Nigeria, struggles to adjust to life in Oklahoma but gains confidence and a connection to home by becoming part of a culture he most admired as a child: cowboys.
- The Silence – Sylviane's ten-day silent meditation retreat takes an unexpected turn when she develops feelings for a man with whom she has shared everything but words.
- The son – When Rafiq flees his home in Syria after his father discovers he is gay, he is forced to go on the run until he finds his “home” in the most unusual places.
- The Baker – Beatrice, the only one of her 22 siblings sent from Uganda to college in the United States, tries to live out her own version of the American dream by selling her chocolate cookies from a basket on her head.
- The main prize Expo Winners – A single mother from Singapore wins an all-inclusive Alaska cruise – allowing her and her two children to experience a taste of the good life on an emotionally cathartic trip.
- The Rock – Faraz will stop at nothing to build a home for his Iranian family, including attempting to remove a massive stone from an otherwise perfect piece of real estate in Yonkers.
