Apple introduced a new version of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini at the "Spring Loaded" event. The devices introduced in October are now available in a new color.
Apple briefly mentioned the upcoming new iPhone 12 model during the event, noting that it is a spring color. The new color is only available for the standard iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini - not the "Pro" models. The purple iPhone 12 will be available for pre-order starting Friday, April 23. It will ship a week later, on April 30. Greg Joswiak expressed as follows:
