If manufacturers want to bring new devices onto the market, they must first register them with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Apple today added seven previously unknown Mac devices to the Eurasian Economic Commission's database under the "portable computer" category. The corresponding model numbers are: A2141, A2147, A2158, A2159, A2179, A2182 and A2251. The EEC database tracks all devices that use encryption technology - which means that almost all Apple hardware products appear in it at some point. In January, for example, the iPad Air and iPad mini 5 were registered before their official launch. Sometimes completely unexpected products can be discovered.
When to expect new MacBook models
There has been speculation for some time that Apple is planning a MacBook Pro with a 16″ display. The well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has already mentioned the device several times – but most recently he could not confirm 2019 as the launch year – he guessed much more 2021Apple may be aiming to present the new professional notebook this fall. A revised 12″ MacBook cannot be ruled out in the fall either. Which MacBook models are actually coming remains a mystery for now.
There may be new reports from reliable sources in the near future that will tell us more about this. By the way: Such an entry should not be seen as confirmation of a timely market launch. Such processes are required by law and are often carried out several months in advance. However, since Apple has already used October to present new iPad and Mac models in the past, October should also be considered a hot candidate this year - it remains exciting. (Photo by Unsplash)
