WhatsApp has submitted a new update via the TestFlight beta program, which shows that the company is testing different playback speeds of voice messages.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp version 2.21.60.11 is not yet ready for the public. However, the website has now revealed a preview of the function that could appear in a future update. According to the preview, it will be possible to listen to a voice message faster in the future. The playback speed is to be accelerated to 1.5x or optionally 2.0x. However, it is not known whether this will be the final configuration. This means that WhatsApp could still make changes in the course of the beta. But who might like this feature?
