Designed by Apple in California – Assembled in China. This is the label on the new Mac Pro 2019 outside the USA.
Like its predecessor from 2013, Apple is having the Mac Pro 2019 assembled in the USA - but these models are only intended for the American market, as has now become known. Customers in other countries will therefore receive their Mac Pro from China. This is confirmed by a picture that was provided to the MacGeneration blog by a European Mac Pro 2019 buyer. Rumors were already circulating in the summer of 2019 that Apple wanted to have the US version assembled in the USA and that the devices manufactured in China were intended for the international market. The picture thus officially confirms the previous reports. With this strategy, Apple is avoiding the trade war between China and the USA.

Mac Pro 2019
Apple recently started shipping the first orders. The new Mac Pro can be purchased for as little as 6,499 euros. The device includes a 3.5 GHz 8-core Intel Xeon processor with 32 GB RAM. The graphics card used is a Radeon Pro 580X with 8 GB graphics memory. The basic version of the Mac Pro also includes a 256 GB SSD hard drive. Depending on the configuration, the professional device can cost well over 60,000 euros. Anyone planning to place an order at this time must expect to wait 2-3 weeks. (Photo by LudYy / Bigstockphoto)
