Mac Pro 2019: Apple introduces new high-end Mac

At WWDC 2019, Apple unveiled Software two combinable Hardware devices. On the one hand, a new screen was introduced and on the other hand, the new Mac Pro – with a new design.

Many fans refer to the new high-end device as a better "cheese grater" - this is the look of the new power beast from Apple. The Mac Pro can be equipped with a new Intel Xeon processor and accommodate up to 28 cores. The price of the new heavyweight starts at 5999 US dollars. The smallest model is already delivered with 8 cores and has 3.5 GHz - 4.0 GHz Turbo Boost. The second level is available with 12 cores and 3.3 GHz performance - the Turbo Boost reaches up to 4.4 GHz in this model. The third option is available with 16 cores and 3.2 GHz performance - the Turbo Boost supports 4.4 GHz.

Available for pre-order from autumn

The fourth and penultimate option has 24 cores and clocks at 2.7 GHz, with Turbo Boost reaching up to 4.4 GHz. In the high-end version, the Mac Pro can be equipped with 28 cores - these clock at 2.5 GHz and a Turbo Boost of up to 4.4 GHz. As far as memory is concerned, the Mac Pro 2019 offers configurations with up to 1.5 TB of DDR4 ECC memory in 12 user-friendly DIMM slots.
