The iPad Pro has established itself as a heavyweight in the world of high-performance tablets since its launch. With each new version, Apple continues to raise the bar for what is technologically possible. The latest leaked benchmarks for the brand new iPad Pro, which features Apple's M4 processor, seem to confirm the company's impressive performance claims.

The iPad Pro is known for its strong performance, appealing to both creative professionals and tech enthusiasts. The introduction of the M4 processor marks a significant step forward, with the first benchmarks already showing impressive numbers. Before the devices land in the hands of the first customers on May 15, it is worth taking a closer look at the available data and understanding what it means for future use of the tablet.

Performance analysis of the M4 processor

According to other benchmarks run with Geekbench carried out , the iPad Pro model labeled iPad16,6 - presumably the latest model with the M4 chip - shows impressive results. The single-core score of 3,767 and the multi-core score of 14,677 indicate a significant increase in performance. These values represent almost 1.5 times the CPU performance of the previous iPad Pro with M2 processor, which is a significant improvement.

iPad Pro: Graphics Performance and Neural Engine

The new M4 processor also shows advancements in graphics performance, as evidenced by the Metal Score of 53,792 points. This score is higher than that of the M2 iPad Pro, indicating improved graphical processing. Another exciting aspect is the ML score for the M4's Neural Engine, which reaches a score of 9,234. This surpasses the previous generation and shows that Apple continues to invest in machine learning and AI capabilities.

Real-world applications

It's important to stress that while benchmarks are a useful metric for hardware performance, the real benefits will be seen in everyday use. Users will be able to see the real improvements best when performing complex tasks such as exporting large files or playing graphics-intensive games.

Preview of upcoming tests

With the official release of the iPad Pro with M4 processor in a week, expect more comprehensive testing to be conducted. This will not only include benchmark data, but will also shed light on actual application performance and the impact on professional workflows.

Promising first impressions: The iPad Pro with M4 processor

The first benchmarks of the iPad Pro with M4 processor are promising and seem to confirm Apple's performance claims. While these preliminary numbers are impressive, the true ability of the device will lie in handling real-world demands. Users can be excited to see how these technological advances will affect their work and play. Until then, it remains to be seen how the iPad Pro lives up to expectations when it officially launches.
