Youtuber Arun Maini subjected the new iPhone 13 models to a battery test and compared the devices with older models. The iPhone 13 Pro Max emerged as the winner.

Dem YouTuber According to our results, all iPhone models have a battery life of 100 percent. The brightness was set the same and all devices were subjected to the same usage. The clear winner was the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which achieved a battery life of 9 hours and 52 minutes with continuous use. Below is an overview:

iPhone 13: Large batteries, efficient chip

  • iPhone 13 Pro Max: 9 hours and 52 minutes
  • iPhone 13 Pro: 8 hours and 17 minutes
  • iPhone 13: 7 hours and 45 minutes
  • iPhone 13 mini: 6 hours and 26 minutes

All four iPhone 13 models have been equipped with larger batteries. Of course, the A15 Bionic chip also works more efficiently. In addition, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have a new ProMotion display with an adaptive refresh rate that can drop to a power-saving 10 Hz or increase to a smooth 120 Hz depending on the content displayed. So if you're still looking for a reason to buy, you could find it in the battery life. (Image: Apple)

Apple devices here aren't test units for a fortnight but everyday tools: from the iPhone to the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac through to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it goes live.
