Apple has released the third beta version of iOS 26. iPadOS 26, macOS 26 ("Tahoe"), watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26 have also been updated in a new developer pre-release version. The new builds are now available for download through the Apple Developer Program.
With the third beta, this year's testing cycle enters the next phase. The release will follow the usual schedule, approximately two weeks after the second beta – in line with Apple's usual approach during the summer beta phase. The goal is to deliver a stable release by fall, including all new features and optimizations. The current beta is once again exclusively for registered developers. Installation requires a corresponding developer profile activated through the Developer Program. Those who have already installed a previous beta profile can download the update directly via Software Update.
No documented changes yet
At this time, Apple has not published any official release notes with specific changes for the third beta. As usual, initial details will be revealed in the coming hours and days—for example, regarding changes to the user interface, new features, or minor optimizations.
