The biggest iOS leak of all time continues. There are also some exciting changes in the area of accessibility, including features that are already on many fans' wish lists.
The latest information also comes from 9to5mac. According to the report, iOS 14 will have generally improved accessibility, which, for example, allows the integration of custom wallpapers by third parties. The US blog explains this in its latest Contribution:
Our code results revealed a new feature that will be able to detect important sounds like fire alarms, sirens, door knocks, doorbells, and crying babies. Presumably, iOS will translate these alarms into haptics for people with hearing impairments. Other new accessibility features would help the camera recognize hand gestures, while "Audio Accommodations can improve audio tuning via AirPods or EarPods for people with mild to moderate hearing loss." Additionally, iOS 14 should offer the ability to run an on-device audiogram to help users tune audio.
third-party wallpapers
This represents a significant improvement in accessibility, potentially making iPhones even more attractive for people with hearing impairments. Furthermore, a search of the iOS 14 code revealed that third-party developers can now provide wallpapers in the dedicated section of iOS Settings. Apple also plans to divide the area into various wallpaper categories. Overall, the company appears to be giving the "Wallpapers" section a fundamental update. The ability to integrate third-party content is a feature that has been requested for years. Here you can find all the updates. iOS 14 Leaks at a Glance. (Photo by HalfPoint / Bigstockphoto)
