Cupertino wants to support this by providing original parts, repair manuals, diagnostic tools and more. The program therefore enables independent workshops to offer a service outside of the warranty period for iPhones - such as display and battery replacement. The 140-plus new repair facilities participating in the program vary in size and include uBreakiFix, with locations across the U.S.

Following the successful launch in the USA, independent repair shops in 32 European countries and Canada can now apply for Apple’s Independent Repair Provider Program applyParticipation in this program is free of charge. There is also no charge for necessary training sessions. (Image: Apple)
