Facebook announced a completely new design last year. While the new look is already available on the apps, the web version of the world's largest social media service is now following suit. Some users can already switch manually.

Facebook has now confirmed the introduction of the new design for the web version. The new user interface will be gradually made available to all users. Basically, it is a similar interface that is already available on the mobile applications - however, the web version includes dark mode, a feature that users of the mobile app are still waiting for. As part of the announcement, three short videos were also uploaded that introduce the new web experience.

How to activate Facebook's new web design

According to Facebook, some users can already activate the new design manually. To do this, click on the dropdown arrow in the top right corner. The command "Switch to New Facebook" should now be available. If the option is not available, the switch is not yet possible. However, this could change in a few days or weeks. (Photo by SiriratM / Bigstockphoto)

Apple devices here aren't test units for a fortnight but everyday tools: from the iPhone to the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac through to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it goes live.
