As expected, Apple released the seventh beta of iOS 13, iPadOS, watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 for developers this evening.

The new versions of iOS 13, iPadOS, watchOS 6 and tvOS 13 beta can be downloaded as usual over-the-air or via the Developer Center. public beta Builds usually follow the next day after the developer preview has been rolled out - with the exception of watchOS 6 - the Apple Watch Beta remains reserved for developers only. With today's update, Apple has moved into the one-week beta phase. This means that weekly updates can be expected from now on. New features will most likely be smaller, as the focus is on fixing bugs.

You can find out what new features have been added in the sixth beta of iOS 13 and iPadOS here As soon as all the new features in the current beta are known, we will summarize them for you in a separate article. You can find out when the final version of iOS 13 will be released for all iPhone users in our analysis read it.

Notice – As usual, a beta should not be installed on an actively used device, as they are usually quite unstable and buggy – we recommend using a second device for this. Apple AirPods with wireless charging case on special offer on Amazon (Photo by Unsplash)

Apple devices here aren't test units for a fortnight but everyday tools: from the iPhone to the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac through to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it goes live.
