Apple released the new software updates tvOS 16.3.1 and HomePod 16.3.1 this evening. The software appears two weeks after the release of the updates tvOS 16.3 and HomePod 16.3.
According to Apple’s update description for HomePod software 16.3.1, the update General performance and stability improvements. The update description for tvOS 16.3.1 is not yet available, but is likely similar to that for HomePod. The update to tvOS 16.3.1 can be downloaded via the Apple TV Settings app under System -> Software Update.
tvOS 16.3.1 & HomePod 16.3.1: Apple releases new software updates
Apple TV owners who have enabled automatic software updates will be automatically updated to tvOS 16.3.1. The HomePod software will be automatically installed on the HomePod unless this feature is disabled. The HomePod can also be updated manually in the Home app. To do so, open the "three-dot icon" in the Home app. Then navigate to the "Home Settings" section and select "Software Updates."
