Owners of a Miles & More credit card have so far had to do without using Apple Pay. According to a new notice, this is set to change soon.

Deutsche Kreditbank Aktiengesellschaft (DKB), based in Berlin, is a credit institution and a wholly owned subsidiary of Bayerische Landesbank – it is, among other things, the issuer of the Miles & More credit card. Although the financial institution has been June 18th This year, Apple Pay was officially supported, leaving Lufthansa credit card customers out. Now, according to a statement, this is to change on the company's own Miles & More page soon. Under the motto “Coming soon: Apple Pay”, the Miles & More Credit Card application is mentioned. It says:

“Download the Miles & More Credit Card app now so that you can soon easily use your Miles & More credit card with Apple Pay. As soon as Apple Pay is available, we will provide you with further information on setting up and using Apple Pay.”

It seems that there are preparations in the background for an early support of Apple Pay at Miles & More - unfortunately, there is currently no specific launch date. In mid-June, DKB announced that it would support Apple Pay for the Miles & More and Hilton Honors cards at a later date. Owners of these credit cards may not have to wait too long. With Apple Pay, iPhones and Apple Watches can replace debit or credit cards. Simply holding the device up to the terminal initiates the payment process.
