Apple has released a second trailer for its upcoming film project "F1." Starring Brad Pitt, the film will be released in theaters on June 27 and later streamed on Apple TV+. It is produced by Apple Studios and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Apple continues to expand its offering of exclusive content on Apple TV+. In addition to series like "Ted Lasso" and "Severance," the company is also focusing on major cinema productions. With "F1," Apple is bringing a racing film to the big screen, featuring Hollywood star Brad Pitt and director Joseph Kosinski. The trailer demonstrates that Apple is investing not only in content, but also in quality.
Brad Pitt plays former F1 driver
The film centers on a former Formula 1 driver, played by Brad Pitt. In the 1990s, he was considered a rising talent until an accident on the racetrack prematurely ended his career. Three decades later, he returns – not as a celebrated star, but as the last hope for a struggling F1 team. The team is owned by a former teammate, who brings him back into the cockpit with the hope of achieving a top spot after all.
Director: Joseph Kosinski
Joseph Kosinski, known for films such as "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Tron: Legacy," is directing. Kosinski has experience with action-packed, visually powerful material. Speed, technology, and atmosphere are also expected to be the focus of the F1 film. The film was produced with the support of real Formula 1 teams to present a realistic portrayal of motor racing.
Theatrical release and streaming
"F1" will be released worldwide on Friday, June 27th. In Germany, the film will also be released by Warner Bros. Pictures. A specific streaming date for Apple TV+ has not yet been set, but one thing is certain: After the theatrical release, the film will be available exclusively on Apple. Apple TV+ costs €9.99 per month or €99 per year in Germany. Those unfamiliar with the service can try it free for seven days. It is available via the Apple TV app on Apple devices, smart TVs, game consoles, and on the web at tv.apple.com .

With the film "F1," Apple is sending a clear message: The company not only wants to deliver technology, but also produce high-quality entertainment. The combination of Brad Pitt, Formula 1, realistic staging, and an experienced director makes the film an exciting project for fans of motorsports and cinema alike. Whether in theaters or later on Apple TV+ – anyone interested in Apple content should keep an eye on June 27th.
