Apple Arcade is getting four new games in May – including Nick Jr. Replay with over 50 classic kids' games. There will also be updates for Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Disney SpellStruck, and more.
Apple is further expanding its family offerings on Apple Arcade. Starting May 7th, Nick Jr. Replay will be released as a new highlight of the gaming service. The game brings back over 50 retro games featuring well-known Nickelodeon characters – from Dora the Explorer and Blue's Clues to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. At the same time, three other titles will be added to the platform, and several existing games will receive substantial content updates.
Apple Arcade costs €6.99 per month and offers access to over 200 games without ads or in-app purchases, and can be used by up to six family members. The service is included in all Apple One subscriptions and is increasingly targeting families. The May updates underscore this focus with a clear mix of children's games, puzzles, and classic titles.
Nick Jr. Replay: Nostalgia for the whole family

Nick Jr. Replay is the most eye-catching new game of the month. It brings together characters from popular Nickelodeon children's shows in an interactive game world. Among them are Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clues & You, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi, Shimmer and Shine, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The game contains over 50 retro games, faithfully preserved in their original form and playable in a new, visually enhanced environment. The focus is on educational content: the games promote skills in mathematics, reading, creativity, and problem-solving. For parents, the nostalgia factor should provide additional motivation.
Three more new games

Alongside Nick Jr. Replay, three more titles will be released on Apple Arcade on May 7th. Good Pizza, Great Pizza+ is a cozy cooking simulator with a storyline, in which you build and run your own pizzeria. Perchang World is a physics-based puzzle game that expands on the concept of its predecessor. Ultimate 8 Ball Pool+ offers photorealistic pool matches in multiplayer mode.
Updates for existing Arcade titles
Existing games will also receive new content in April and May. Hello Kitty Island Adventure will see the conclusion of its City-Town storyline on April 16, in which Hello Kitty and Usahana must rescue a new friend. Disney SpellStruck will receive new Adventure Mode maps on April 23, inspired by Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, featuring the playable characters Boba Fett and Wicket. My Talking Angela 2+ is already offering a Barbie event focusing on fashion, creativity, and self-expression.
Apple Arcade as a family platform
The May updates confirm Apple's strategy of positioning Apple Arcade as a safe gaming platform for families. The absence of ads and in-app purchases, combined with family sharing for up to six members, makes the service particularly attractive for households with children. Nick Jr. Replay is the clearest indication of this: Apple is bringing established children's brands to the platform and offering parents an ad-free environment where children can play.
