Apple Arcade is entering the holiday season with a host of new features. The focus is on fresh content for Sneaky Sasquatch, new games starting in the year, and activities in Apple Stores worldwide. This mix of updates, events, and upcoming releases demonstrates how actively the service is evolving, ensuring a broad offering that appeals to both existing fans and new players.
Apple Arcade has been a mainstay in subscription gaming since 2019. The service focuses on ad-free gameplay without in-app purchases and a constantly expanding library. Popular titles receive regular updates, while new games are added every month. This approach ensures that the Apple Arcade gaming world remains vibrant even years after its launch. The recent winter and January updates clearly demonstrate Apple's commitment to delivering new content.
Sneaky Sasquatch: new content and promotions
Sneaky Sasquatch has been one of the most popular games on Apple Arcade since its launch. The open-world adventure has been continuously expanded over the years. A major farming expansion was recently added, and the next big update, Harvest to Harbor, arrives on December 16th. This update focuses on growing and harvesting mushrooms and introduces a new Crop Market. This market features fluctuating peak prices, allowing for strategic selling. Profits depend on when the harvest is delivered, making farming in the game more dynamic and rewarding good timing.
Alongside the update, many Apple Stores are hosting Sneaky Sasquatch-themed activities. Specially designed Today at Apple sessions will run every weekend until January 6. In Kids: Draw with Sneaky Sasquatch, children create a festive party scene on the iPad and decorate it with stickers. This allows them to practice using creative digital tools and design their own Sasquatch. Some stores will also be showing dance parties on the big screen. The game can also be tried out directly in the Apple Arcade.
A special event is taking place in Los Angeles. At Apple The Grove, an interactive installation recreating the world of Sneaky Sasquatch will be created on December 12th and 13th. Visitors can take photos with Sasquatch, find hidden objects, win small prizes, and enjoy snacks around a campfire.
New games on Apple Arcade
In addition to the Sneaky Sasquatch activities, several new games will be available on subscription in December. These include SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2, PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers+, and NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+. This gives Apple Arcade another mix of familiar brands and new adaptations, all playable without ads and at no extra cost.
Four new titles will be released on January 8th at the start of the year. Cozy Caravan is a single-player adventure that combines crafting, trading, and exploration. The gameplay focuses on a peaceful journey in an old caravan. Along the way, players forge new connections with the various communities that inhabit the world.
Sago Mini Jinja's Garden is another open-world game for younger audiences. The 3D world is full of little surprises and offers many interactive elements.

True Skate+ expands the arcade portfolio with a well-known skateboard simulator featuring realistic physics. The new version is adapted to the arcade model and is playable without ads.
Potion Punch 2+ brings a fast-paced time-management game to the subscription service. The focus is on mixing magical potions and serving guests. The arcade version removes all microtransactions and concentrates on the core gameplay.
Prices and availability
Apple Arcade costs €6.99 per month in Germany. The service can be tested free for one month. Three months of Apple Arcade are free with the purchase of a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV.
