The Amazon Prime Video applications for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV have now received a long-awaited feature – in-app purchases.
When you open the Amazon Prime Video app, you'll now see the message "Browse, rent, or buy newly released movies, popular TV shows, and more—now within the app." This means that users of the Amazon Prime Video app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV can now buy or rent movies and TV shows directly from the app. Apple even seems to be going a step further and allowing Amazon to integrate its own payment system within the app.
Thousands of films and series episodes available
This means that in-app purchases are not billed through Apple, but directly to Amazon. A "Shop" section has also been added. This section summarizes all content that can be purchased or rented. Until now, users had to go through Amazon on the web when buying or renting movies. However, the online retailer now appears to have worked out a special deal with Apple, as Apple generally does not approve third-party payment systems. Amazon Prime Video offers access to unlimited streaming of thousands of movies and series episodes. In addition, selected content is available exclusively before its TV premiere. Offer.
