In a few weeks, Apple will present the new iPhone generation. Telekom has already started its annual reservation service. It should be clear by now that it won't be long now. You can almost guess on which day the presentation might take place.

The biggest innovation: All models will follow the current iPhone X, Touch ID is a thing of the past. The 3D facial recognition Face ID is not only more secure but also more convenient and intuitive. The iPhone X will continue with 5.8" and will also get a big brother with a full 6.5" screen - the Plus version. Both will have an OLED display. Another iPhone with a 6.1" LCD will also be part of the line-up. The OLED devices will have a DUAL camera. The LCD model will most likely only have one main camera sensor, like the iPhone 8.

2012: iPhone 5: September 12th – on sale September 21st, 2012
2013: iPhone 5S & iPhone 5c: September 10th – on sale September 20th, 2013
2014: iPhone 6 & 6 Plus: September 9th – on sale September 19th, 2014
2015: iPhone 6s & 6s Plus: September 9th – on sale September 25th, 2015
2016: iPhone 7 & 7 Plus: September 7th – on sale from September 16th, 2016
2017: iPhone X, 8 & 8 Plus: September 12th – on sale from September 22nd, 2017 and iPhone X only from November 3rd, 2017

Based on the dates from previous years, the presentation is most likely to take place in the week of September 10th. A sales launch could take place about 10 days later - unless Apple wants to surprise us again.
