We had a great opportunity to innovate with PS5 by offering game developers the chance to explore how they can increase that sense of immersion through our new controller. That's why we introduced haptic feedback that conveys a variety of powerful sensations when playing, like the slow grittiness of driving through mud. We also integrated adaptive triggers into the L2 and R2 buttons on DualSense so you can really feel the tension of your actions, like drawing a bow to shoot an arrow.
DualSense: Two-tone with integrated microphone
Another change is the arrangement of the LED area and the extension of the "Share" button. This should retain its previous range of functions and offer more. However, no specific details were given; these are to be presented at a later date. The Playstation 5 DualSense also contains an integrated microphone. Accordingly, a headset is not absolutely necessary. However, it is recommended for longer sessions. Another innovation is the choice of color.
