The question of whether Call of Duty Mobile has bots is currently being hotly debated. The answer is simple: Yes, there are!

Even if Activision itself has remained silent on the matter, the answer is certain. Yes, there are bots in the latest CoD. This fact can be explained quite easily. Bots are used for training purposes. Not every player is a Call of Duty master. Many have to get used to the gameplay and learn the controls first. That's why every Call of Duty Mobile player will come across bots in their early days - or do you want to be overrun by a hyperactive 14-year-old child who is always gaming at level 1? Well, not me! Various platforms have already dealt with this topic and carried out corresponding tests. The result: beginners will mainly fight against bots up to level 10. Of course, real players will also meet each other on the way there - but in a controlled manner.

Bots are not a new invention

Only from level 10 onwards are the lobbies made up of real players, but even then bots appear from time to time. Bots in such games are nothing new, however. The popular title PUBG Mobile, for example, also has computer-controlled opponents. This method is used to easily get started in such games. Fortnite is also said to have bots - as yet unconfirmed. But let's get back to Call of Duty Mobile. Both PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile were created in collaboration with the Chinese company Tencent - so this fact should come as no surprise.

Halloween event

Just a few weeks after launch, Call of Duty Mobile received its first major event - Halloween. The new Halloween mode includes various cosmetic changes and additions. In addition to the new event, Activision recently added a new Sniper Only mode and new challenges. As can be seen on the start screen, the title was cosmetically adapted to Halloween around two days ago. Glowing pumpkins and ghosts were added and the background music was changed. Various maps were also adapted to the theme. The event also includes some limited-time content that can be unlocked in the next few days - including new rewards.

Important Announcement

For players who have already maxed out their rank and progression, Activision plans to offer additional opportunities - more details will be provided at a later date. (Photo by Denys Prykhodov / Bigstockphoto)
