In recent weeks, the rumor mill surrounding the upcoming iPhone has been heating up. It is now very likely that the iPhone 11 will be equipped with a triple camera - but the design continues to be criticized.

In addition to reports from various platforms, there have already been insider information as well as leaked images to the upcoming iPhone 2019Now a new image has appeared on the Chinese social media platform Weibo - it is said to show the metal chassis of the iPhone 11. The component has several cutouts and is part of the iPhone back inside. Here, too, the distinctive camera cutout for three lenses can be seen. According to a slightly older rumor, the third cutout is reserved for a 5x telephoto lens - this would promote the iPhone's augmented reality capabilities.

Design in Criticism

The other two cutouts are intended for flash and AR sensors as well as the microphone. The problem with the new camera module is the design. The design has been criticized negatively in various forums, as well as in our community. Whether Apple will really launch the next iPhone with this look remains to be seen. The Wall Street Journal claims to have learned that the new camera module is reserved for the successor to the iPhone XS Max. Other sources claim that both premium iPhones will be equipped with this device - so the topic remains exciting.
