Apple announced three new colors for the HomePod mini at its "Unleashed" event. However, a launch date was not specified. Now there are indications that the launch in Germany has been delayed.
Apple originally introduced the HomePod mini in 2020. The small Siri speaker has a spherical design and was previously available in black and white, like the classic version. The smart speaker will now be available in other colors. Customers can now choose between black, white, yellow, orange and blue. Apple has applied these colors to the entire device, i.e. to the fabric and the tinted touch surface. However, no changes have been made in terms of functionality. Bob Borchers, Apple's Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, commented as follows:
HomePod mini available in five colors
HomePod mini sounds incredible, and with access to more than 90 million songs in the global Apple Music catalog and deep integration with your Apple devices, it's the must-have smart speaker for iPhone users. With its new, vibrant colors, HomePod mini fits in even more places and offers amazing sound, the power of Siri, and simple and secure smart home control—all while protecting your privacy.

But when exactly can the new versions be purchased? Apple itself hasn't yet given a specific date. The German online store says they'll be available at the end of November – previously, it was just "November." The US store, however, still only mentions "November." Accordingly, a delayed market launch is now expected. Interestingly, AppleTrack has reported, according to which the new model could be launched in the USA and Canada as early as next week. Interested parties in this country will therefore have to be patient. (Image: Apple)
