Chiangrai, Thailand: September 19, 2017 - The disassembled Apple iMac computer body cover to make repairs or replace new parts in service shop

Apple updated the vintage list this week and added five iMac models, including two devices with 5K Retina displays.

Apple has updated its own vintage list and in the process renamedFrom now on, the company will refer to the area as "Service for your Apple product after the warranty period has expired." The Vintage List includes devices that have not been sold for more than five but less than seven years, while the Discontinued Products List includes devices that were discontinued more than seven years ago. Devices on the Vintage List can still receive hardware service from Apple and certified service partners, subject to the availability of repair components and as required by law. However, hardware service is no longer available for discontinued products. The list has now been expanded to include five iMac models.

Apple adds notice for iPhone or MacBook products

  • iMac (21.5-inch, late 2013)
  • iMac (27-inch, late 2013)
  • iMac (21.5 inches, mid 2014)
