The launch of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 was an adventure for all iPhone and iPad users. But Apple seems to have slowly gotten the numerous issues under control – except for the "Personal Hotspot" feature. This bug still lingers.
Some iPhone and iPad users have been experiencing issues with Personal Hotspot since the launch of iOS 13. The feature doesn't seem to work at all for some, while others are struggling with constant connection drops. Now, however, Apple claims to have acknowledged the issue, according to the US blog. MacRumors, according to which Apple has informed authorized service providers that problems related to "Personal Hotspot" are a software issue and not the hardware itself.
Will iOS 13.4 help?
According to the memo, the service partners should only recommend restarting the function and not replace the hardware. It is now suspected that a bug fix will be implemented via an update. However, it is unclear whether the corresponding adjustment will already be submitted under iOS 13.4. Apple recently released the Golden Master version of iOS 13.4 (released for all users on March 24th) for developers, but the problem was not mentioned in it. This means that the whole thing could only be added in a subsequent update. Anyone who has hotspot problems should turn the function off and on again. If this is not enough, restarting the device should help. Have you had problems with the hotspot function so far? Write to us in the comments. (Photo by Fedcophoto / Bigstockphoto)
