Rumors that at least one of the new iPhones will have two SIM card slots in the fall have been circulating on the Internet since February of this year.
Now the rumor from China is being fueled further.
“Dual SIM, dual standby” feature?!
Das Wirtschaftsblatt 21st Century Business Herald wrote that one of the iPhones would contain a “Dual SIM, Dual Standby”-Feature is installed, which is supposed to enable registration in two networks. According to the report, a classic SIM slot is to be installed and the Apple SIM is also to be integrated. This would not be new - on the contrary, the iPad Pro is doing it.
The alternative would actually be two SIM card slots – but we consider this unlikely.
