Apple will host its virtual "Spring Loaded" event on April 20, likely unveiling new products. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has now weighed in.
The well-informed Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman is known for his connections to Cupertino. Now he has in an interview explainedthat nothing "particularly innovative" or "extraordinary" will be unveiled at the "Spring Loaded" event. Gurman also stated that Apple will unveil a new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro on Tuesday. The larger model will feature mini-LED technology. However, the new tablets are said to be an "iterative update" to the iPad series. The event will be Apple's first product launch in 2021. Speculation about further products is plentiful.
“Spring Loaded” event: Will Apple unveil the AirTags?
These also include brand-new iMac devices. However, no specific date has been announced for these yet. Gurman, however, states that when Apple unveils the new iMacs, it will be a "big deal." Apple is also reportedly preparing to introduce AirTags. Whether these will actually be unveiled on Tuesday remains unclear, however. Gurman himself did not provide any details on this. Thus, it remains to be seen whether Apple will simply update the iPad lineup next week. Event will take place on Tuesday, April 20th and will be broadcast live on the Apple website, the Apple TV app and Apple’s YouTube channel.
