Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Apple had to close all Apple Stores worldwide in early March to protect employees and customers. Now, according to a report, some stores are scheduled to reopen in May.
A new Bloomberg report According to reports, Deirdre O'Brien - Apple's retail chief - announced the reopening of some Apple stores in May during a video conference. However, neither the region nor the exact number of stores was specified. O'Brien is said to have said:

“We continue to analyze the health situation at all locations and I expect to reopen many more stores in May.”
Originally, the reopening of some Apple Stores was planned for mid-April. However, due to the current situation, only one Apple Store could reopen on April 18th in South Korea will open its doors – albeit with restrictions. While sales remained closed at first, a few customers were able to pick up their repaired devices at the Genius Bar. One thing is certain: When Apple reopens the individual stores, the company will take local conditions and recommendations into account.
