The rumors surrounding the iPhone 12 series have already reached a new high. Now there are reports again about the included EarPods.
As is well known, iPhone buyers receive a pair of EarPods in addition to the charging cable and adapter. This has been the case since the first iPhone. But this year, everything could change. At the end of May, the well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo speculated, according to which Apple could only include a charging cable and adapter with the iPhone 12 series. According to this, the era of EarPods is set to end this year. Now Wedbush analyst Dan Ives has spoken out (via 9to5mac) and supports Kuo's statement. Ives also believes that Apple could omit the EarPods from the iPhone 12. Cupertino wants to use this strategy to further boost sales of the already popular AirPods.
Apple's supply chain is back in full swing
The AirPods product range currently includes two versions of the popular earbuds, one of which has active noise cancellation. However, the range is set to be expanded to include a new over-ear model. This means that observers expect the introduction the so-called "AirPods Studio." These are said to have all the benefits of the previous AirPods and offer even more. With the inclusion of this version, Apple would have a suitable AirPods model for every user. Furthermore, the Wedbush analyst claims to have learned that Apple's supply chain is fully operational again and the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are a thing of the past. According to this, the company should be able to return to full production. (Photo by Ekaterina79 / Bigstockphoto)
