Apple will officially present the iPhone 12 series and more on Tuesday evening. A few days ago, numerous specifications, prices and sales dates were announced. Now there are further details on battery life, Face ID and more.

The well-known leaker Max Weinbach (@PineLeaks) has now also posted some last minute leaks about the iPhone 12 publishedIn the course of this, he also confirmed details that were already posted on Weibo on Friday published According to this, the data sheet published in Chinese is correct. Weinbach also explained that Apple has made further improvements to Face ID. This means that facial recognition should be even faster in the iPhone 12 series. In the camera area, all four Devices be upgraded. Weinbach claims that the digital zoom has been improved on all iPhone 12 models. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max even have 4x and 5x optical zoom respectively. The ultra-wide-angle lens could also have been updated as a result.

Weinbach explained that the two Pro versions will last around an hour longer. The iPhone 12 mini, on the other hand, will offer a shorter battery life than the iPhone 11 due to its size. Weinbach also reiterated previous claims about iPhone 12 models that will likely be able to record 4K videos at 120 or 240 frames per second (FPS). Shortly afterwards, leaker Jon Prosser also commented and explainedthat the iPhone 12 series will definitely not offer ProMotion displays. The reason for this is 5G support.
