Apple will host an online event on September 15th with the theme "Time Flies." The event will showcase the Apple Watch Series 6 and the iPad Air 4. An Apple Watch SE is also possible.
Rumors that Apple plans to offer a cheaper Apple Watch have recently been documented again. Now, newcomer leaker Jon Prosser has spoken out. He explained that the so-called Apple Watch SE could be unveiled during the "Time Flies" event. While listing the code names, he emphasized that there will be two different Apple Watch variants. Accordingly, he expects the so-called Apple Watch Pro and a more affordable Apple Watch. The Tweet:

Is the Apple Watch SE intended for children?
Unlike the “Pro version” of the Apple Watch, the cheaper Model without an always-on display and ECG function. However, this version will have the Apple Watch Series 4 design and an M9 chip. Previous rumors have suggested that the device could get a new case made of plastic material. Reduced costs could also significantly reduce the price. Prosser did not comment on this, however. There have also been leaks on a software basis that Apple wants to integrate a special children's mode into watchOS 7. This fuels the suspicion that this inexpensive Apple Watch model could be primarily intended for children. It remains to be seen whether Prosser will be right.
