The well-known and accurate analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has reported back to investors in a new note. In it, he lists several products that are set to be released in the first half of 2020 - including AirTags, updated iPad Pro and MacBook models and more. A new charging mat is also planned.

Today's report could be the most interesting so far in 2020. Ming-Chi Kuo predicts several Apple products, including three completely new ones. The analyst believes that Apple will launch updated iPad Pro and MacBook models. He left open whether these will be MacBook Pro or MacBook Air devices. There will also be a new entry-level iPhone, which is seen as the successor to the iPhone SE. The model will be based on the design of the iPhone 8. While previous rumors regarding the design and specifications are identical, the name remains unclear. Observers believe that Apple will call the device the iPhone 9 The design should justify the choice of name.

AirTags, smaller charging mat and new headphones

But now things are getting really exciting. The already unveiled AirTags are also set to be released in the first half of 2020 - you can find more details in our big Summary. Apple is also planning to introduce new headphones under the "Apple" brand. Ming-Chi Kuo announced these back in 2018 - now the time has come. It remains unclear what model these will actually be. But now comes the bombshell. Kuo believes that Apple will present a small wireless charging mat. However, it is not supposed to be AirPower. Exact specifications were not mentioned in the report. It therefore remains unclear in what way Apple's wireless charging mat could stand out from competing products.

Kuo warns of coronavirus

In the course of the new report, Kuo also issued a warning about the coronavirus. According to the report, there could be interruptions in production - resulting in a delay in delivery. Apple boss Tim Cook also warned of this during yesterday's quarterly results announcement. At the same time, however, Cook held out the prospect of unspecified contingency plans. No comment was made on when Apple will actually introduce the above-mentioned products. The schedule is said to be for the first half of 2020. As it is rumored that a March event will take place, this date is the most likely. AirPower alternative: Pre-order the ZENS Liberty charging mat now on Amazon. (Photo by Eremin / Bigstockphoto)
