Previous rumors about AirPods 3 were very meager - there were no real details about the features and design. Now the well-known star analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has spoken out again and hinted at a design change. According to him, Apple plans to present the AirPods 3 in the first half of 2021. There will also be changes to the design. According to Kuo, the third generation of the popular earplugs will partially adopt the form factor of the AirPods Pro. What exactly that means, however, remains unknown for the time being. The design change could probably be related to the style - it is not expected that this model will also have an in-ear shape.

What new features the AirPods 3 will offer remains unknown for now. Apple launched the AirPods 2 in March 2019 presented and implemented the "Hey Siri" function. The wireless charging case was also presented. It can therefore be assumed that the new generation will not only have new design accents. Expansions in the health sector are conceivable. In addition to the new AirPods 3, Kuo also emphasized once again that Apple will no longer ship the EarPods with the iPhone 12.
