Apple CEO, Tim Cook, visited the Munich Oktoberfest and gave an interview to the Bild newspaper. The Apple Card was also a topic.
The Apple Card was originally presented to the world public in March during the "It's show time" event. In addition to the new payment method, Apple presented other services such as Apple TV+ and Apple News+. The Apple Card was the highlight of the entire show. The card is Apple's official entry into the credit card industry - the new Apple Pay addition was realized in collaboration with Goldman Sachs. But so far the credit card from Cupertino is only available in the USA. But that is about to change. According to Cook, Apple plans to introduce the card in other markets - including Germany. The problem is the bureaucratic part. Accordingly, it could still be a long time before the official launch - but the plans are there and have been confirmed, to the delight of many fans.
During his stay in Germany, Cook used the time to meet the developer of Algoriddim (Djay), Karim Morsy. Apple's CEO also visited the team at the Bavarian Design Center, which had a significant influence on the development of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro batteries. Of course, there was also a visit to the Apple Store - in the interview, Cook also emphasized that the iPhone 11 had a "strong start". A trip to the Oktoberfest was of course also included - Cheers Mr. Apple. (Image: Apple)
