The new iPhones are currently being put through their paces. This includes the famous drop test.

CNET wants to know. The online magazine subjected the gold iPhone Xs to a drop test - to be precise, the new iPhone was dropped four times. Overall, the iPhone Xs is a lot more stable than its predecessor. A fall from a height of 90 cm caused the iPhone X to break. The result is different for the iPhone Xs, which hardly sustained any damage.

The new premium iPhone even withstood falls from a height of 1.5 meters. Apart from a few cosmetic damages, the iPhone Xs remained intact after the four falls. Apple seems to have done a good job here. According to Apple, the display glass is a new development. When asked by the online magazine, the question of what actually leads to the outstanding stability was not answered.
