Just a few minutes before the official WWDC 2019 event, a Notice which came as a big surprise to everyone. With iPadOS, the Apple tablet is supposed to go its own way.

2019 is set to be a very special year for Apple - a completely new operating system was introduced at the start of this year's developer conference. In the future, the iPad will have its own software based on iOS - iPadOS. With iPadOS, Apple wants to get even more out of the professional tablet and, for example, offers applications and functions tailored specifically to the tablet. The goal is for the iPad to one day replace conventional laptops - with iPadOS, the first step could now be taken. In the future, useful widgets can be positioned on the edge of the display, for example. The popular Split View function is also being expanded - it will allow an application to be used in two instances in the future. The "Files" app has also been significantly optimized.

Safari

The application appears with its own info box and can access USB storage devices under iPadOS. In addition, folders in iCloud can be shared with other users in the future. The improved iOS 13 Version also brings dark mode into play on the iPad. Of course, Safari enjoys significant improvements under iPadOS.

In the future, the browser will be on par with the macOS version. All websites will appear in desktop view on the iPad. Users will also be able to easily download content from the iPad in Safari in the future - there will be a manager for this.

Apple Pencil

Users will be able to change and add additional fonts. New text editing functions will make the work process much easier. If you make a mistake, you no longer have to shake the iPad - a swipe gesture will immediately undo the unwanted action. Of course, Apple's own stylus is also included. Apple Pencil support is improved with new applications - the response time has also been significantly optimized. (Image: Apple)
