Apple today released version 2.7 of TestFlight for iOS and iPadOS and redesigned the icon. Will a macOS version finally follow?
TestFlight can be used to test beta versions of applications for iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS. The app was acquired by Apple over six years ago, but a Mac version is still missing. The application has now been updated for iOS and iPadOS. From now on, it will appear with a new icon.

When will TestFlight be released on Mac?
Now available on the App Store, the application includes the more detailed, propeller-inspired TestFlight icon with phases of a blueprint on each sheet. It also features the "DESIGNED BY APPLE IN CALIFORNIA" stamp, though it's hard to see it on an iPhone. Could this feature be a hidden hint of an upcoming macOS version? Who knows? So, it remains exciting. In addition to the new icon, the update brings general improvements and fixes common bugs. The new TestFlight also supports version the App Clips feature introduced in iOS 14. (Photo by ms_pics_and_more / Bigstockphoto)
