The volume and playback progress slideshows have also been updated to match the Music app's style. Another notable improvement is the chapter list for podcasts. It now shows the time remaining until the next chapter and provides information about the length of each chapter. If an episode contains images related to the chapters, they will appear at the top of the Now Playing screen, while the podcast artwork will appear in a smaller size directly below, followed by the title. The Now Playing tab has also been updated. Each podcast is now displayed on a card with the matching background color of the podcast cover. In addition, search results can now be filtered by top results, shows, episodes, and channels. These improvements are also available on iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma.
