Apple is once again wowing the world of technology with exciting updates to its product lineup. With the release of iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, tvOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, and macOS 14.1, the company is offering a wealth of new features and improvements to its loyal user base worldwide.

As expected, Apple has now released new updates for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, etc. Below we will present the most important new features and improvements in these updates in detail.

AirDrop – Transfer without borders

With iOS 17.1, Apple has taken AirDrop to a new level. Now content can continue to be transferred over the internet even when you leave AirDrop range, meaning you can share files with your friends even more seamlessly and flexibly.

Sleep Mode - Individualized Settings

There is good news for the proud owners of iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. iOS 17.1 brings new options for controlling when the display turns off. You can now adjust the settings to perfectly suit your usage behavior.

Apple Music – A feast for the ears

Attention music lovers! Favorites in your music library have been expanded to include songs, albums, and playlists. You can now filter them even more easily to find exactly the music you love. The new cover art collection also features stunning designs that reflect the colors of your playlist. And that's not all! You'll see song suggestions at the end of each playlist so you can easily add music that fits the mood of your playlist.

iOS 17.1 fixes bugs

But that's not all iOS 17.1 has to offer. This update also includes important improvements and bug fixes, including:

  • The option to select a specific album for shuffling photos on the lock screen.
  • Support for house keys when using Matter locks.
  • Improved reliability when syncing Screen Time settings across devices.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Significant Location privacy setting to be reset.
  • Fixed an issue where incoming caller names might not be displayed.
  • Fixed an issue where custom and purchased ringtones were not appearing as text ringtone options.
  • Improvements to accident detection (for all iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models).

watchOS 10.1 – Double-tap for Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2

In addition to the iOS update, there is also an exciting new feature for owners of the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. With watchOS 10.1, Apple is introducing the Double-Tap function, which makes using your smartwatch even more intuitive and practical. Now you can access your most important functions even faster. These updates are proof that Apple is always striving to improve the performance and usefulness of its products. If you own one of the supported devices, you shouldn't miss this update.
