Apple has now released the fourth beta of iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1, tvOS 15.1 and watchOS 8.1 as well as the tenth beta of macOS 12 Monterey to registered developers.

Apple has now rolled out the fourth preview of the first point version of iOS 15 and Co. for registered developers. While the first beta of iOS 15.1 only contains a handful of new features, the second and third versions focused on bug fixes and performance improvements, which is now also expected from the fourth preview. However, it is not impossible that Beta 4 will also have one or two new features to offer. As soon as we know what Apple has changed, we will of course report on it separately as always.

Beta note:

As usual, a preview should not be installed on an actively used device, as they are usually quite unstable and prone to errors - we recommend a second device for this. (Photo by Runa0410 / Bigstockphoto)

The build numbers are:

  • macOS Monterey beta 10 (21A5552a)
  • iOS 15.1 beta 4 (19B5068a)
  • iPadOS 15.1 beta 4 (19B5068a)
  • watchOS 8.1 beta 4 (19R5566a)
  • tvOS 15.1 beta 4 (19J5567a)
