Microsoft has updated Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook for iPhone and iPad – Dark Mode is now available.

The company announced in the summer that it wanted to equip its own Office applications with Dark Mode. OneDrive was the first Microsoft app to receive the new update. The rest of the Office offering was subsequently updated as well. While the new Dark Mode is mentioned in the OneNote update description, Microsoft only mentions iCloud in the other applications. The company writes in the OneNote version history: "Save your eyes with Dark Mode: Switch to Dark Mode in low-light environments or whenever you want to improve the readability of the OneNote interface and the readability of your notes."

The remaining applications only contain the following note: "Choose your destination: Use the Move command to easily move your cloud-based files from one folder to another." In order to use the dark mode in the respective apps, iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 or newer is of course required. (Photo by bigtunaonline / Bigstockphoto)
