As expected, Apple has released iOS 13.5, iPadOS 13.5 and tvOS 13.4.5 for all users.
Apple released the Golden Master versions of iOS 13.5, iPadOS 13.5 and tvOS 13.4.5 as well as the final version of watchOS 6.2.5 the evening before yesterday. The new updates have now been rolled out to all users. Accordingly, everyone can now download iOS 13.5, iPadOS 13.5 and tvOS 13.5 over-the-air. iOS 13.5 contains Apples new interface called “COVID-19 Exposure Notifications”. iOS 13.5 update description:
iOS 13.5 speeds up access to the passcode field on devices with Face ID when wearing a face mask. It also makes the Exposure Notification API available for COVID-19 contact tracing apps from public health authorities. The update also adds an option to control the automatic highlighting of video tiles in group FaceTime calls, as well as bug fixes and improvements.
Face ID and code
- Simplified unlocking of devices with Face ID when wearing a face mask
- Automatically display the code field after swiping up at the bottom of the lock screen when wearing a face mask
- Also enables authentication for the App Store, Apple Books, Apple Pay, iTunes, and other apps that support Face ID login

- Exposure Notification API to support health authorities' COVID-19 contact tracing apps
FaceTime
- Option to control automatic highlighting of video tiles in FaceTime group calls, which does not change the size of the speaking participant's video tile
This update also includes bug fixes and other improvements.
