Last night, Apple released iOS 13.3, among other things. Now a reference to the successors to the Powerbeats3 has been discovered.
As 9to5mac reports, Apple appears to be planning a new generation of Powerbeats. The iOS 13.3 code reveals a new Powerbeats model with new features. One of these features is said to be "Hey Siri" support. According to the leak, the Powerbeats4 will be equipped with the new H1 chip – Apple's current headphone chip. In addition to the "Hey Siri" function, the discovery also supports the "Announce Messages with Siri" feature. This suggests that the supposed Powerbeats4 Wireless will also be able to read incoming messages aloud. This feature is currently only available on the AirPods 2, AirPods Pro, PowerBeats Pro, and the new Beats Solo.
But what is the difference to the well-known PowerBeats Pro?
The biggest difference between the upcoming Powerbeats4 Wireless and the already available Powerbeats Pro is that the Powerbeats4 are wired while the PowerBeats Pro are actually wireless headphones. A specific price for the new model is not yet known. Since the PowerBeats3 are available from Apple for around 199.00 euros, the new model should be in a similar price segment. When Apple will actually introduce the new headphones remains to be seen. In our Apfelpatient Amazon Shop you can find all current Beats models. (Photo by Sorbis / Bigstockphoto)
