Apple announced a new series at the Television Critics Association and announced the launch date – “Home Before Dark” will be released on April 3rd on Apple TV+.
The new drama series was inspired by an experience of reporter Hilde Lysiak. It tells the story of a murder that Lysiak was confronted with at the age of eleven. Apple explains in the press release:
Home Before Dark follows a young girl who moves from Brooklyn to the small lakeside town her father left behind. There, her search for the truth leads her to discover an unsolved case that everyone in town, including her own father, is trying to bury.
Brooklyn Prince will take on the role of Hilde Lysiak. Abby Miller and Jim Sturgess will also be seen in the new drama series. A second season was also confirmed in advance as part of the press release. When "Home Before Dark" starts, three episodes will be available immediately - further episodes will follow every Friday.
