Apple announced a new series at the Television Critics Association and announced the launch date – “Home Before Dark” will be released on April 3rd on Apple TV+.
The new drama series was inspired by an experience of reporter Hilde Lysiak. It tells the story of a murder that Lysiak was confronted with at the age of eleven. Apple explains in the press release:
Home Before Dark follows a young girl who moves from Brooklyn to the small lakeside town her father left behind. There, her search for the truth leads her to discover an unsolved case that everyone in town, including her own father, is trying to bury.
Brooklyn Prince takes on the role of Hilde Lysiak. Abby Miller and Jim Sturgess also appear in the new drama series. A second season was also confirmed in the press release. Three episodes will be available immediately upon launch of "Home Before Dark," with additional episodes following every Friday. (Image: Apple TV+)
