Facebook was founded in 2004 and now has over two billion users worldwide.
The social network Facebook appears to have been struggling with technical problems since Tuesday afternoon. The portals downdetector.com and AlleStörungen.de have reported several technical problems with the world's largest social network since 1:49 p.m.
Europe, North America, and South America are primarily affected. Most error messages relate to page loading – some users also report that logging in is not possible. On Twitter, the hashtag "Facebookdown” also reported problems posting. Other users don't seem to have noticed this yet. In addition to Facebook, Instagram is also reportedly suffering from several error messages. What caused the technical issues is not yet known.
