Apple's MagSafe Battery Pack has already been spotted in the wild. Now another image has surfaced confirming that the accessory is also compatible with the AirPods.
Apple's MagSafe Battery Pack is actually primarily intended for the iPhone 12 series, as it offers MagSafe technology. It can apparently also be used as a Qi charging station with any device that supports wireless charging - including Apple's AirPods. As I already said in the afternoon reported a Reddit user was able to get his hands on the new charging accessory. Now he has posted another picture published, showing the MagSafe battery charging a pair of AirPods.
Apple's MagSafe Battery Pack: Delivery will start soon
Apple has indicated that this is possible on the MagSafe Battery Pack product page. It states:
Sitting at your desk and need a charge? Simply connect a Lightning cable to the MagSafe Battery Pack for up to 15W wireless charging.
Russell's image confirms that it will work on the go, turning the MagSafe Battery Pack into a portable, battery-powered Qi charger. The first orders for the MagSafe Battery Pack are expected to ship this week, meaning it will also be available for pickup at the Apple Store. (Image: Apple)
