Apple Watch Series 6: The Solo Loop Problem

The Apple Watch Series 6 has been shipping since Friday, September 18th. In addition to the new model, Apple also introduced brand new straps, including the Solo Loop and the braided Solo Loop.

With the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple has introduced two new strap options, the Solo Loop and the braided Solo Loop. These new straps are unique because they do not have a locking mechanism. For this reason, they are sold in nine different sizes. To find the right size, Apple offers an online Template to print out so that you can measure your arm. And that's exactly where the problem lies. Anyone who has ordered an Apple Watch Series 6 version with the Solo Loop strap may be faced with the problem that the strap doesn't fit in the end. Those affected have to send back the entire product - the Apple Watch Series 6 together with the strap. Basically, some customers are now faced with the problem that the new Solo Loop doesn't fit as well as they hoped. But instead of exchanging the strap, they are forced to send the entire product back.

Apple Watch: Return policy triggers debate

The reason for this is quite simple: Apple considers the Apple Watch Series 6 or the SE models that come with the Solo Loop bracelet to be a set. Accordingly, the entire order must be returned. Since supplies are currently limited, those affected must expect to wait until the end of November. The whole thing has now caused a huge discussion. Those affected would like to replace only the bracelet and not the entire Apple Watch. But Apple's guidelines do not officially allow this. There are exceptions, however. Some users report that they have received a replacement bracelet in local Apple Stores - if stocks allow it. Even though Apple offers a template for measuring, many seem to be dissatisfied with the result. It is currently unclear whether the company will take appropriate measures in this regard. So if you have a Solo Loop bracelet order If you want to make a size smaller, you should measure carefully or, if possible, try out the individual sizes in the Apple Store. (Image: Apple)
