The 4th generation of the Apple Watch is set to be released in the fall with larger displays. A topic that has already been the subject of much speculation.
The models are expected to hit the market with 1.57" and 1.78". This small increase in size will probably be made possible by a narrower display edge. The heart rate monitor will also be improved.
New devices appear in the EEC database
If manufacturers want to bring new devices onto the market, they must first be approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Now Apple is submitting a new application to the EEC – it concerns six new Apple Watch models that are to be approved.
The model numbers are A1975, A1976, A1977, A1978, A2007 and A2008. The application also lists the associated software, namely watchOS 5.
Apple currently offers 8 models of the Apple Watch, including the expensive ceramic versions in black and white. It is possible that Apple will remove these models from the range or only offer them with LTE functionality.
The new Apple Watch models are expected to be introduced in September.
